Rubia Co-sponsors “Girl Rising” in Portsmouth

On March 20, for the second time this month Rubia will co-sponsor a screening of “Girl Rising,” the feature film at the center of a  global campaign  to educate girls. Learn about the amazing organization,  “10 x 10,” and watch the trailer: http://10x10act.org  The New Hampshire World Affairs Council is organizing the screening at the Music Hall in Portsmouth, followed by a   panel discussion.

The panel discussion will be moderated by Cynthia Fenneman, President and CEO of American Public Television and will include: Tom Yellin, Executive Producer at 10x10; Karin Barndollar, Secretary of Education For All Children; Hope Mbabazi, a student from Uganda who benefited from an education scholarship; and Bess Palmisciano, Founding Director of Rain for the Sahel & Sahara.
